Frequently Asked Questions
Booking a room at Student Depot is quick and easy.
You can make a reservation online via the dormitory’s website by selecting your preferred room type and clicking “BOOK NOW”. The entire process is simple and intuitive, and it is completed by paying the service fee and a security deposit equal to one month’s rent.
Payment of these fees constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions, conclusion of the lease agreement, and confirmation of your room reservation at Student Depot.
You can also make a reservation in person by visiting your chosen dormitory. This is a great opportunity to view available studios, single rooms, or double rooms and choose the option that best suits your needs.
At Student Depot, you receive a comprehensive benefits package - regardless of the length of your stay.
The rent includes all housing-related costs, including utilities such as water, electricity, and heating. We also provide 24/7 building security and free technical assistance directly in your room.
The rent additionally covers high-speed internet and access to the WORK&CHILL zone, perfect for both studying and relaxing. This allows you to focus entirely on your studies, personal goals, and enjoying student life — with no extra formalities or unexpected costs throughout your stay.
The agreement signed with Student Depot is a fixed-term accommodation contract and is binding for the entire agreed period, with no option for termination at any time.
In exceptional cases, Student Depot allows early termination by mutual agreement, provided that a new tenant is found for the vacated room. From the date of the new lease, rental costs are covered by the new tenant, while the deposit is retained by Student Depot.
The deposit at Student Depot is equal to one month’s rent. It is paid at the room reservation stage together with a non-refundable administrative fee. The deposit does not constitute the first or last month’s rent and is held by Student Depot for the entire duration of the stay.
After the end of the lease period and confirmation of the room’s technical condition, the deposit is refunded in full or reduced by the cost of any necessary repairs. The refund is processed within 14 business days from the confirmation of your bank account details.
At Student Depot, you can pay in advance for the entire contract period or in monthly installments, due by the 5th day of each month for the current period. Payments can be made online or by card at the reception, or via bank transfer to the Student Depot account.
Cash payments are not accepted.
Most students living at Student Depot choose a 12-month stay, covering the academic year from September to August. This allows them to remain in the same room during the summer break and continue their stay into the next academic year without the need to move out.
We also offer flexible options for Erasmus students. Summer is a great time to stay at Student Depot as well — whether you are planning a longer or shorter stay in the city during the summer months, feel free to contact us and we will help you find the most suitable accommodation option for August.
The most up-to-date booking periods are always displayed next to each room type at the selected Student Depot location.
Each guest is required to sign in on the guest list at the reception desk and sign out when leaving the dormitory. Guests may stay on the premises of Student Depot until 11:00 PM.
If you would like your guest to stay overnight, an additional fee of 30 PLN per night applies, which helps cover the cost of extra utility usage.
You can return to the dormitory at any time.
The Student Depot reception desk is staffed 24/7, and each resident is provided with a room key and a proximity key fob, allowing unrestricted access to the building at any hour.
Yes, you can arrange your arrival date with us within the selected month.
Simply choose the date in your customer account or send us an email with the relevant information.
We recommend planning your arrival as early as possible in the first month of your stay, as the rental period covers full calendar months. However, you are not required to move in on the first day of the lease if it is not necessary.
Of course. We have extensive experience in this area and issue the required certificates once the deposit and reservation fee have been paid.
At Student Depot, we help you find the best possible roommate, subject to availability and depending on vacant rooms.
You can live with someone of the same gender, from a similar university, or often even studying the same field.
If you prefer, you can also move in with a friend, provided that availability allows — simply invite them to choose Student Depot and enjoy living together.
Yes, vacuum cleaners, ironing boards, and irons are available free of charge at the reception desk.
You can also arrange additional room cleaning services at any time during your stay.
Each Student Depot dormitory is equipped with laundry facilities, available for a reasonable fee.
All of our rooms are fully furnished*, and each kitchenette is equipped with essential appliances, including a refrigerator, induction hob, extractor hood, sink, and electric kettle.
Please note that dishes, duvets, pillows, bed linen, and towels are not provided and should be brought with you.

Building A
Kitchenettes in the rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle. Shared kitchens are available on floors 1–10 and additionally feature induction hobs and ovens.
Building A also offers modular (cluster) rooms with a shared kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle.
Building B
Each in-room kitchenette will be equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, induction hob, extractor hood, and electric kettle. In addition, a spacious shared kitchen will be available on the ground floor.
